1960-70s Years, Manufacturing become growth in Hong Kong
“Shiu Fat Mould & Machinery Factory” , predecessor of “Shiu Fat Plastic Engineering Ltd.” was found in 1974, at Hung Hom, Hong Kong by Mr. K. F. Tang.
80s, the Most Hottest Period of Manufacturing in Hong Kong,
Shiu Fat started plastic injection business as the economic growth. Lucky, Shiu Fat have had some customers in electronic products, and became experienced in engineering plastic.
Certificated by UL QMMY2 (Fabricated Parts – Component) to meet the requirement of products since 1990.
Year 90s, China opened to world.
To adapt the market needed, Mr. Tang made a serious decision.
1992, Changed name to “Shiu Fat Plastic Engineering Ltd.” to show Shiu Fat strategy of specialized in engineering plastic and mould making.
1993, Shiu Fat moved the production to Shenzhen, China.
Year Millennium, Seek Survival within Two Waves of Economic Crisis
Competition became fierce. Quality become more important in the market. To increase our ability, we certificated ISO 9001 improve our quality system in 2005.
2010s, Atmosphere of China changing
As the policy changing, labour costing increased, exchange rate of RMB raised, no more Low value production available in China made marking.
Mr. K. F. Tang retired from managing and being “Director and Technical Advisor” of Shiu Fat in 2011. Steven Tang become Manager of Shiu Fat till now.
In 2011 Nov, China factory changed name to “Tangs Shiu Fat Plastic Electronic (Shenzhen) Ltd.” which is a “Wholy Owned Forgein Enterprice” (WOFE) in China, from former “Three-plus-one” trading-mix (custom manufacturing with materials, designs or samples supplied and compensation trade).
After few years of manufacturing in auto industry, we success to registered TS16949 Automotive Management on Nov, 2014.
In 2017, Shiu Fat invested with another Hong Kong Company, found by Mr. M. P. Kowk, joint partnership to the factory “Tat Shing Luen Fung Electronic Toys Co. Ltd.” in Kaiping, Guangdong. Expanding with benefit of larger scale, diversify the production lines, and lower the cost.
